REITENOUR DEBUT'S IN THE ARCA LINCOLN WELDER TRUCK SERIES

Megan Reitenour, sophomore from Miamisburg, Ohio, made her debut in the ARCA Lincoln Welder Truck Series at Kentucky Speedway on Saturday May 12, 2007.
During practice and only being the third time Megan had ever driven the ARCA Truck she was eighteenth fastest out of twenty six trucks in the series. During qualifications her truck developed a mechanical problem placing her in the twenty-fourth position at the start of the race.
When the green flag dropped she began to work her way up through the field. She advanced from twenty-fourth to sixteenth position very quickly. After a caution Megan's truck had mechanical problems again. She found out later that the truck had experienced transmission problems and she was unable to finish the race.
Megan said, "I was disappointed for myself and the team who worked so hard to give me a great truck to compete with. We will get the truck repaired and I look forward to the next race at Kil-Kare Speedway in Xenia, Ohio."
