Reitenour Wins Ice Breaker 350

Sixteen year old Megan Reitenour, development driver for Nesbitt Racing Enterprises, won the Ice Breaker 350 at Tri County Speedway in Hudson, NC, on March 8, 2008.
Reitenour qualified in the seventh position of a fourteen car field and wasted no time working her way towards the front. On lap 23 she was involved in a collision causing her to restart towards the back of the field. Reitenour strategically worked her way back through the field and gained the lead on lap 97. She went on to claim the victory in the inaugural Super Cap Stock Car Series (SCSCS) event.
Reitenour thanked the sponsor's of her race, Purple, Hampton Inn (Morganton, NC), McCallister Precision Marketing Team, her car owner, Martin Nesbitt and her race team for working so hard and providing her with a great race car.
Reitenour said, "This was a great start to hopefully a successful season. I'm really looking forward to our next race on April 12, at Newport Speedway in Newport, Tennessee."
