Reitenour Earns Pole Award at the MPM 100

Super Cup Stock Car racer, Megan Reitenour qualified pole position out of a fourteen care field for the MPM 100 at Newport Speedway in Newport, TN.
Upon inversion Megan started in the fifth position of the field. She quickly worked her way to lead which she held for the majority of the race. On lap 92 she spun in an effort to avoid an accident and had to restart at the back of the field. Megan quickly and strategically worked her way through the field to a third place finish.
Megan said, "I couldn't have asked for a better race car. My team worked so hard all day long and really gave me an awesome race car. We had the car to beat all day long but it just didn't turn out in our favor. We gained some valuable ground in the points and I'm really looking forward to our next race at my home track, Kil-Kare Speedway in Xenia, Ohio."
